Summary/Abstract: Nature has always provided people a livable environment. Besides basic living needs such as nutrition, housing, it also responded to needs such as dressing and decoration. Today, people are looking for ways to return to nature and find ways to make this search viable in all areas of life. As a matter of fact, methods that do not harm nature and people have started to form a wide range of uses in the field of art. Therefore, in addition to natural dying, the terms of natural printing, eco printing (eco-print) and ecological printing have been used more often. Eco printing applications have started to increase especially in clothing products and complementary parts of clothing products. With this study, eco printing methods applications in textile were examined. It was observed that there was a generally free composition order, when considering the composition arrangements examined. At this point, the idea of how a traditional pattern would have a result on the textile surface with eco printing technique emerged and experiments were made in different techniques. The elibelinde pattern was applied on the cotton fabric surface with rust printing and tataki -zome techniques from eco printing methods. As a result of the experiments, it seems that a traditional pattern can be used in a different area. The study is important in terms of including a sustainable, nature-friendly and previously untested practice.
