Summary/Abstract: The author describes a 40 year collaboration with Ante Glavičić about the research of the history of the city of Senj, the Uskoks, Bunjevci, and then collaboration in the Senj Almanac as well as the collaboration in the organisation of scientific meetings. He looks briefly back to the political situation of that period.
