Summary/Abstract: John Paul II in Letter to Artist paid special attention to inseparable connection between Gospel and art. Author of this paper would like to verify if this message is still up-to-date and possible in contemporary art. For this purpose author made a deeper analysis of Diabły and Matka Joanna od Aniołów theatre plays that were presented in Warsaw theatres.
