Summary/Abstract: Th e paper analyses Armenian and Azerbaijani national myths with special emphasis on the myths about the Karabakh confl ict. By means of Paul Ricoeur’s narrative approach we interpret selected Azeri and Armenian websites and find out the national myths regarding the Karabakh conflict. We conclude that the national myths of Armenians and Azeris are mutually incompatible and we identify the possible way out of the current deadlock.
