Summary/Abstract: The interwar period brought to the Neamț County a series of major changes, in several areas of social life, such as properties, occupations, relationships, studies, values, etc., changes that were welcomed in the fight against epidemics that have invaded and decimated the population of this geographical area. Most of these diseases are eradicated today, but for some of them, such as pellagra, tuberculosis, syphilis, scarlet fever, etc., are still present in isolated cases. And because history exists in everything, including medicine, in this material we intended to present as concisely as possible the manifestation of these diseases, the efforts of the authorities in time to understand and try to stop the spread in population, and treatments used then and now
