Siroz was first published in 1910 and then changed its name into Hançer in 1911 and continued to be published until 1912. Additionally the study tries to show how the intellectuals of the city reflect different events and political developments explained in official documents and correspondences of the period to the the city dwellers, and how a provincial intellectual considers political events happening in the capital city of the Empire and reflects his readers through the newspapers as well.
