Summary/Abstract: The article is dedicated to the analysis of the new criminal offense stalking (Article 168a) which has been introduced into national criminal law by the Law on Amendments to the Criminal Code of Montenegro in 2017. In this way Montenegro has fulfilled its obligation under Council of Europe Convention on preventing and combating violence against women and domestic violence (Istanbul Convention). In the analysis of this crime, part of the paper is devoted to the analysis of the crime of endangering security (Article 168) and to the relationship between these criminal acts (Art.168 and 168a). Special attention in the article was dedicated to the analysis of their similarities but also to their significant differences with a view to their clear demarcation and precise qualification into the practice.
