Summary/Abstract: Crete saw many poets during Ottomans' reign for two hundred and sixty eight years. The only evidence of Ottomans' domination in Crete is literary works. Hanyalı Nuri who wrote poems as well as proses is important for Turkish literature in Crete. Divan of Hanyalı Nuri is interesting in terms of both number and variety of poems. One of these poems is a seventy four-couplet mesnevi that can be considered as a distinct work. This literary work of the poet is in the form of hilye. He stated that he added Hakani and Cevri's hilyes that were written a long time ago. This study provides information about Hanyalı Nuri, Hakani and Cevri. Hanyalı Nuri's Hilye-i Haseneynu'l Abseneyn is analyzed in terms of form and content. In addition, this study includes full text of the poem.
