Police Proceedings

Summary/Abstract: The issues of the police proceedings as one of the possible forms of preliminary investigation are put to a discussion in this article. First of all the common characteristics of the preliminary and the police proceedings are analysed. After that the differences are studied. A number of proposals de lege ferenda are laid down for legislative amendments to the police proceedings. In this respect the most topical are the proposals for a fundamental amendment, especially to the preliminary examination at the start of the police proceedings.
