Charismatic leadership in politics

Summary/Abstract: The article presents the basic theoretical waves explaining the notion “charisma”. The author stresses on Weber and Feud created the first definitions and analysis on charismatic political leader. The functional approach is presented from Durkgeim, Parsons and Friedland, and pluralistic – fron Shils and Popper. The theoretical explanations are structured in relation to 1. the chronological order and 2. the focus of analysis of every author.
