Summary/Abstract: Intelligence and its functions are of great significance to the policy of modern states. Intelligence offers a much needed contribution in two areas. On the one hand, the political decision making of every government is based on intelligence information. On the other hand, special intelligence forces take part in the implementation of political goals and decisions. Considering its special objectives and functions, a state’s intelligence is bound to be the leading force behind the realization of state interests and goals.
