Summary/Abstract: This article addresses the dangers of different languages worldwide, based on the book "Language death" written by linguist David Crystal, who has become known in linguistics and beyond because he has stated that if the English language will continue to spread at the pace of the last decades, it will happen that in a not toodistant future to speak only one language, English. Through summarizing them, the main concepts of this book have been taken into consideration. They largely correspond to the situations of the Albanian language in Montenegro, especially in some urban environments such as Tivar, Plav, Guci, and Rozhaja. In these places the Albanian language has elements of risk and endangerment, according to its concrete indicators on the ground. It's understood that the Albanian language does not find free space in rural areas, but it has limited domains here. In this case, we are dealing with the phenomenon that we can call Albanian linguistic ruralism in Montenegro. By addressing the phases, causes, and measures that D. Kristal deals with giving the context of the Albanian language in Montenegro on these factors, and given the ways for Albanian speakers in this country to follow, to keep up one of the most important values of their culture, which is the language.
