Summary/Abstract: Our paper intends to emphasize on the most important biographical events from Zoe Dumitrescu-Buşulenga’s life starting with her childhood, the school years up to 2005 when she became a nun, being known as nun Benedicta. However, we focuse especially on the academic career of Zoe Dumitrescu-Buşulenga when she is a professor at the University of Bucharest, taking into considerations the remarkable awards and achievements fulfilled during her life. In the same time, the last part of our presentation highlights her approach to the monastic life when she realizes more and more the necessity of spending her life in prayer, modesty and humility which creates a unique intellectual portrait.
