Summary/Abstract: Through archival sources from the Archives of Yugoslavia in Belgrade (AJ) and the Archives of the Faculty of Orthodox Theology of the University of Belgrade (APBF) as well as literature, this paper shows long path of the Serbian Orthodox Karlovci Seminary towards recognition of faculty (higher education) level for that institution.
