ECONOMIC THOUGHTS IN THE LEGACY OF NİZAMİ GANJAVİ

Summary/Abstract: Nizami Ganjavi, one of the most prominent figures of classical Azerbaijani literature, in his works, along with the most pressing problems of the time, expressed interesting views on economic principles, various aspects of economic life. These ideas are always relevant for our lives today. He expressed his thoughts and ideas in this field in a way that economists are not accustomed to say in the numerous images he created in the numerous images he created in the verses of “Khamsa. During the analysis, along with labor relations, economic relations were touched upon in the poet`s legacy. Seeing the honor and superiority of man in work, Nizami considered it necessary for them to act in conditions of mutual assistance and assistance with nature. Nizami, who understands the social nature of economic relations between people, reminds us that they depend on each other, and as a result they all create wealth together and serve each other. In his works, Nizami spoke at length about the role of reason, science and foresight in the management of the country and socio-economic life. He considered it important that the Shah, the ministers and officials should be ranked according to their abilities, not according to their lineage.
