Summary/Abstract: The text contains examples of the influence of parents on the advancement in the music education of their children. It analyzes statistics of research studies concerning the dependency between parental influence and careers of mature musicians. It deals with the influence of the family on the basic musical development of each child from the beginning of his life and human musical development. The article draws attention to anomalies in upbringing. Examples of artistic stimulation within family are shown.
