Summary/Abstract: This paper deals with two social-psychological phenomena – voyeurism, as an autistic, passive attitude towards the subject of somebody’s interest and desire and exhibitionism, as a socially active act of directing the views of others towards ourselves. Within the first section, the criteria for diagnosing voyeuristic and exhibitionist disorders were listed. The second one includes etiology of these two disorders. In the next section, some types of these phenomena that do not have a pathological quality were listed and explained. Some of them are the following ones: electronic, sports, political, verbal, tourist, and drama voyeurism, or exhibitionism. These phenomena are an interesting subject for research in cultural anthropology, sociology, and social psychology. In the last section, some brief analyses of several visual and performative products of the pop culture, with voyeurism and exhibitionism elements, were presented.
