Summary/Abstract: Since the existence of humanity on earth, politics is regarded as a male occupation. In different periods of history, women are generally seen as the oppressed sex. The woman was excluded from public life in groups that have a different identity, women's interest in politics is more in the background.In this study, the political perspectives of the women of the society, who live in the Sancak District of the Yoğurtlu Town of Erzincan and are called "Posha" by the local people, will be discussed. In this context, the main purpose of the study is to determine the level of political participation, political tendency and political consciousness of women. This study, which constitutes an example of qualitative research, is a scientific research project supported by the Scientific Research Projects Coordination Unit of Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University titled "The Social and Political, Economic and Cultural Contributions of the Citizens Living in Erzincan, Who Are Called as 'Posha', and the Perceptions of the European Union" based on. Unstructured interviews were conducted with 14 Lom/ “Posha” woman within the scope of the field research of the study. In the study, field data are interpreted based on a theoretical framework formed by the concepts of social exclusion, ethnic identity and gender inequality. As a result, the study found that women's interest in politics is extremely limited, a situation caused by insufficient education and exclusion, and their political preferences are guided by their husband-father-family elders and traditions
