Summary/Abstract: Industry is the main strength of an economy. With this dimension, foreign direct investment in the industrial sector contributes to growth and employment, and accordingly, it is expected to have a positive effect on the stock market index. In this study, the effects of the industry on the stock market index of foreign direct investment coming to Turkey 2005: 01-2020: 02 period from the ARDL analysis for examination was conducted. According to the analysis results, also it came to Turkey for direct foreign investment in the stock industry index was seen linearity and create relationships but it also appears to be effective in the long-term dimension. In this context, it can be said that as long as the Turkish economy gives stability and confidence in political and economic terms, it can attract foreign capital in the form of both direct and indirect investments. Thus, it is clear that creating a suitable climate for long-term foreign capital will not only create enthusiasm for the stock market but also solve the problem of saving and foreign exchange deficit that the country needs.
