Summary/Abstract: The use of coercive means in the interest of public health protection is currently a much-discussed concept, because it affects a wide range of individual rights and at the same time during the Covid-19 pandemic it really affecting the lives of most people not only in Slovakia but in the whole world. The main goal of the article is to bring the views and attitudes of adults regarding the use of such interventions. as a survey methodology, we chose an anonymous questionnaire, which was electronically sent. 132 people took part in the survey. The survey showed that the attitudes of our respondents to non-pharmacological interventions using coercive means and thus to the protection of individual and public health are positive.
