Summary/Abstract: The main purpose of the article is to define virtual reality, which, thanks to the era of new technology and the advent of internet contributes to the emergence of a new type of interaction. Issues related to the impact of virtual interactions on the shaping of identity are equally discussed. Latour’s division into human and non-human factors (actants) is used to conclude the considerations, and their impact on the formation of identity is discussed.
