Summary/Abstract: The archivistic documents demonstrate that in Dobruja, the National Orthodox Society of Romanian Women (1910-1948) founded branches in Constanta, Sulina and Odessa. The members of the company organized kindergartens, weaving schools, a girls' institute, provided support to women and children in need. Faced with different financial problems, these branches survived by organizing events, dance teas, movie screenings, where they managed to collect funds and aid.
