Faith and Knowledge

Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the relation between faith and knowledge. Starting from the gnoseological, the ethical, throughout the philosophical, the author comes to the theological perspective of their complex relationship. Faith is the key phenomenon of the human being, and the basic element of religious life itself. Cognition, within the context of religious comprehension, is the union with the object of learning. The act of religious learning is the very act of revelation. Christian faith is not a psychological state nor the faith in everyday, common sense, but above all it is an ontological relationship between man and God.
