Summary/Abstract: The article provides an answer to the question to what extent constitutional justice defends the citizens’ trust in law. The author examines a series of interrelated problems, such as: the Constitution as a supreme representation of state activity, the democratic meaning of the relations between state and citizens, trust as a legal category, as well as the principle of its defense as an element of the rule-of-law state, among others. The stability of the constitutional order is immanently related to the effectiveness of the norm control as contributive to the defense of trust. Therefore, the second part of the article outlines the different kinds of norm control as instruments of constitutional justice.
