REGULATION OF INNOVATIVE BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT AND IMPROVEMENT OF OUR COUNTRY'S INTERNATIONAL RANKED POSITION

Summary/Abstract: Reforms in Azerbaijan aim to ensure sustainable economic development through diversified economic development, business infrastructure, development of entrepreneurship, creating an effective investment climate with business support and increasing the competitiveness of the economy. In recent years, the facilitation of procedures, expansion of e-services, prevention of inappropriate inspections carried out in accordance with the Presidential decree on Additional measures for Development of Entrepreneurship have led to further improvement of the business and investment climate, as well as other areas. Systematic measures are being taken to develop entrepreneurship and further improve the working environment in the country and a more progressive regulatory framework is being created, taking international experience into account. Issuance of construction permits has become possible through improvement of corporate governance, protection of investors' interests and necessary changes in bankruptcy legislation as a continuation of reforms in electronic registration of commercial enterprises, foreign trade operations and registration of real estate rights.
