Summary/Abstract: The change, which is one of the most important features of culture, takes place depending on very different factors. Technology is one of these factors. At first glance, technology, which is thought to play a role only in production or some vital elements, actually intervenes directly in the life cycle of all people and societies. Especially the widespread use of digital technology that emerged in the 21st century and its accessibility by all segments of the society increased this cultural interaction. Especially thanks to social media applications, people have had the opportunity to freely share their ideas and opinions and to meet people with the same or similar ideas on the same platforms. At the end of all this process, an understanding of virtual communities or virtual tribalism emerged, which are similar to the community-style structures in the past and take place in a virtual environment. In this study, the understanding and effects of virtual tribalism caused by digital culture have been revealed.
