Summary/Abstract: In this research in order to identify trends and areas studied in the literature on strategic thinking in Turkey, it has made a systematic review of postgraduate theses and articles in relevant fields. The method of this study is qualitative content analysis. YÖK Thesis and YÖK Academy databases were searched under the heading of strategic thinking, and a total of 17 studies, 6 thesis and 11 articles, were found. Due to the limitation of publication regarding strategic thinking, 5 out of 6 theses and 6 out of 11 articles were reached. According to the results of the research; There are a limited number of theses and articles in the field of strategic thinking in Turkey, which is determined mostly written PhD theses, only one master thesis of them. It has been determined that quantitative method is mostly preferred in the studies. Although there is an intense need for strategic thinking and decision-making in the public sphere, it has been determined that the studies are mostly carried out with private sector executives and unit managers in the field of business administration in big cities. It has been noticed that 3 out of 6 theses prepared in our country were prepared under the same academician consultancy. It has shown that there are a limited number of academicians interested in strategic thinking in our country. In this study, which was designed as a systematic review in the qualitative research method, considering all the different views previously prepared and presented, it was seen that the scales were limited in quantitative terms compared to the resulting theoretical background. All the data in the theses were collected, analyzed and interpreted with the help of these scales. In order to eliminate this limitation, it will be very useful to develop and use qualitative measurement methods that will contribute to future studies, more comprehensive and even theoretical accumulation of the literature.
