Summary/Abstract: Values are the judgments that guide our behavior from the past to the present. Some works play an important role in keeping the values up to date. One of these works is Orkhon Inscriptions, which is the first written work of Turkish history. Orkhon Monuments are one of the most important works that carry the culture and values of the Turkish nation to the present day. Understanding Orkhon Monuments will make it easier for us to establish a connection between past and present values. For this reason, the aim of the study is to examine the Orkhon monuments in terms of the values in the social studies lesson curriculum. Qualitative research approach has been adopted in the study. The data in the study were obtained through document analysis. The obtained data were analyzed by content analysis method and presented by tabulation with frequency values. As a result of the research, the values of justice, family unity, independence, peace, scientificity, diligence, solidarity, sensitivity, honesty, aesthetics, equality, freedom, respect, love, responsibility, disposition, patriotism and benevolence in the 2018 Social Studies curriculum It has been determined. It is concluded that among these values, patriotism, independence / freedom, solidarity and diligence come to the fore. According to the results obtained, Orkhon can benefit from the inscriptions in bringing the values in the 2018 Social Studies curriculum to the students.
