Summary/Abstract: We are living in times fraught with tragic events such as numerous armed conflicts, terrorist attacks, natural disasters etc. All of them cause post-traumatic stress disorder. The symptoms of this disorder have a big influence on human ability to contract marriage. The authors of Wpływ zespołu stresu pourazowego na kanoniczną niezdolność do zawarcia małżeństwa [Impact of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder on Canonical Incapacity to Marry] have conducted a study on the causes behind the PTSD occurrence and its influence on consensual incapacity to marry in the light of the jurisprudence of the Roman Rota.
