Summary/Abstract: Establishing disciplines in the function to standardize the Arabic language is tightly linked to the Qur'an. One of the most important motives that encouraged Muslim scholars to reflect on the activities related to the standardization of the Arabic language was wrong pronunciation (Lahn) of the text in Qur'an. In order to preserve the language of Qur'an of wrongful pronunciation and that Muslims could "hang out" with the Qur'an as it is published, there was a need for scientific disciplines whose role should be clear recognition of what is right and what is wrong in pronunciation, as well as the preservation of the structure of the language of Revelation. Linguistic discipline which are primarily due to the Qur'an, flourished in Basra and then transferred to other parts of the Arab-Islamic Empire (Kufa, Baghdad, Spain, Egypt and Sham) were orthography, lexicography and grammar. The significance of each of the above language disciplines was confirmed by a great number of actors creditable of launching the disciplines, their development and planning of the execution of the most urgent tasks in protecting the language of the Qur'an and standardizing literary Arabic language.
