Summary/Abstract: This study examines the evolution of the art of the animation theater in the era of postmodernism: the development ofthe artistic form, the transformation of the stage structure of the animation performance. The artistic form of the performanceswill be analyzed according to the theory of deconstruction of J. Derrida, one of the basic conceptual sources of postmodernaesthetics. Therefore, on the basis of the information about the main stages of development of the animation theater, it is proposed to identify the main manifestations of deconstruction and understand that the stage form of performances can betransformed on the grounds of the theory of deconstruction.
