Summary/Abstract: Levente Nemes is the actor at the Tamási Áron Theatre in Sfântu-Gheorghe and the former director of this institution. It is not exaggerated to say that the redefinition of the artistic objectives of the theatre is largely due to his work as a theatre-manager. His oeuvre is honoured with numerous professional prizes: he is the recipient of the István Szentgyörgyi, Mari Jászai and Attila Kaszás prizes, multiple winner of the EMKE-prize and of the Lifetime Achievement Award of the Hungarian Ministry of Cultural Heritage. He is pensioner from 2008, but continues to play ever since and – at the age of 82 – continues to be the determining personality of the Tamási Áron Theatre. Sándor Nagy B. asked him about his life, career and his professional credo.
