Culture-forming activities of the Library of Kazimierz Wielki University

Summary/Abstract: The year 2019 is especially important for Kazimierz Wielki University, because the academy celebrates its 50th anniversary. In addition to didactic and scientific tasks, the library has been conducting interesting culture-forming activities for years. At present, the library is located in a beautiful and modern building, in which there is a large exhibition space, including a professional gallery, as well as conference rooms, reading rooms and studios. The article describes what activities promoting the art, culture and knowledge were organized and are still carried out by the librarians of the university library from its beginning to the present day.
