„Bucovina literară”, A Space of Affirming the Identity Expression

Summary/Abstract: In the study “ «Bucovina literară», a Space of Affirming the Identity Expression” we propose to clear the aspects relating to the complicated way that the publication that appeared at Cernauti in 1940 have had untill the present. We used the collection of the revue and the texts of literary history signed by Dimitrie Vatamaniuc and Ion Filipciuc. This is why, for many years, everybody wrongly believed that this publication was published for the first time in 1941. In addition, our demarche sustains the 75th anniversary of the revue that always promoted the regional spirituality. We wrote about the first series, but also about the second one. The conclusion is that “Bucovina literară” has followed a belief, sustaining the identity, the specific and maximal values, as Mircea Eliade said.
