The Congress session of the Polish Statistics

Summary/Abstract: To celebrate 100 years of existence of the Polish Statistical Association, in April took place in Poznan the Congress of Polish Statistics. The study honors authors of the organization that had a strong influence on the shape of modern statistics in Poland. The presented reports also included detailed information about the course of these discussions. It also provides a resolution of Congress, which defines activity purposes of Polish statisticians (researchers and practitioners) in the XXI century.
