"Letters to George" Maria Kuncewiczowa - author's written expression of feelings towards husband

Summary/Abstract: The article shows Maria Kuncewiczowa very personal feelings which she verbalized in her last book entitled Letters to George. Three stages of feelings have been described in the analysed stuff. These are feelings connected with the death of a spouse, namely anxiety and fear, the feelings at the very moment of death; first of all shock, and finally feelings felt after some time. Kuncewiczowa expresses the complicated world of inner feelings by means of expressive language resources, with her usual artistry.
