Summary/Abstract: In our fast-paced world, it often happens to us that we pass by a building or a work of art day by day without even noticing it. We may have never even addressed the question of why the building was built or since when it has been located there. In the last year we have been hearing more and more about the reconstruction and modernization of the Belgrade‒Budapest railway. The railroad built in the 19th century is now "obsolete". It is part of one of the most important railways in Europe.
