Censuses in the XXI century

Summary/Abstract: Census works conducted in a traditional method and using electronic technique were compared in the article. The author discusses legal acts concerning the coming Agricultural as well as Population and Housing Censuses. A new census conducting method, connecting direct surveys and administrative data sources, will be used. The paper discusses the organisation of the data processing taking into account data protection too. Some cases of digital maps use in censuses were given at the end of the article.
