Summary/Abstract: The hereby article promotes the results of a field research conducted as part of the doctoral studies under the aegis of the University of Bucharest. Through the case study conducted on the community of Novaci in Gorj, from Oltenia beneath the mountains, we advanced for the first time the innovative concepts of social and symbolic infrastructure.
