IT import on the operation efficiency of local labour offices

Summary/Abstract: Due to significant differences in activities of poviat labour markets in Poland, one can put a question about sources of the differences as well as ways to change the situation. The study tried to connect expenditures for activities supporting poviat labour offices (using IT to their activities) with their results. The cluster analysis was used, which results are not sensitive to potential endogenous origin of these processes. Using some system functions affects daily activities of labour offices but the data do not show that expenditure differences have prediction power to diversify results. Discussing functions connected with vacancy choice to job-seeker results indicate connection lack between an efficiency of official labour services and tools which make possible to automate and standardize their activities.
