The study bases on two estimation methods, i.e. the classical least square method as well as diversification procedure one the constant. This resulted a positive human capital influence on GDP growth rate per capita in OECD countries in years 1992–2007. Other analyzed variables seem to support or impede the GDP growth rate per capita depending on the used research tool but the used human capital measures confirmed, in most cases, the positive impact of professional qualifications, competences and health standard on the economic growth rate.
