Summary/Abstract: Late in the evening on 3 october 1918 king Ferdinand is sent – a man who 31 years determines the destiny of Bulgaria. Ferdinand is a personality who combines both extremes – from false and flashy glorification to hysterical curses. What causes the king’s abdication and how the democrats and namely – Andrey Lyapchev (of great importance in the government of Malinov-Kosturkov and in the Democratic Party) affected it? Answers of these questions are given in the article.
