Summary/Abstract: The paper deals with interpretations of scientific-technological revolution (STR) in Lithuanian philosophy during Soviet period. The official ideological scheme is reconstructed. Its fundamental aspects are characterized concisely: the thesis and its evolution on metamorphose of science turning into productive forces, the radical division of diverse social economical formation, and the social and epistemic status of science. The reasons for popularity and magnitude of STR problematics in Soviet Marxism are deliberated. The paper discloses the broad variety of STR interpretations in Lithuanian Soviet philosophy. It is noted that side by side with the works that illustrate the ideological scheme of historical materialism in Lithuania, there were critical reflections of it too (J. Minkevičius, B. Kuzmickas, V. Žemaitis, B. Černienė). Often opposing official dogmas, these reflections treated the impact of STR on science, culture, morals and the spirituality of the human being.
