Summary/Abstract: The article is a continuation of the analysis of the reception of Friedrich Nietzsche’s philosophy in Lithuania. We examine the reactions of the exile priests Pranas Gaida-Gaidamavičius (1914–2013) and Antanas Paškus (1924–2008) to the Nietzschean ideas. Their philosophical education was based on Christian philosophy, thus they mainly thought about how to radically evaluate different ideas, how to present their contradicting arguments. They tried to interpret Nietzsche in such a way that he would become a philosopher who confirmed that the thinking of a person, who has lost the absolute, deviates from the path of truth. These authors stood out from other exile priests in that they recognized Nietzsche as a partner for a serious discussion. They, therefore, attempted to discern and analyze such statements that were acceptable to them as well as statements that, in their view, were more moving than illuminating.
