Summary/Abstract: Romania held a special place in the politics and views of Marshal Józef Piłsudski. This was due largely to the geopolitical situation at the time, in which Romania was an important factor in Soviet politics and diplomacy. The close relations established by Piłsudski with the Romanian royal court also served to strengthen mutual support and understanding.
