Summary/Abstract: After the Soviet Union’s separation it became clear that there were two different groups called as Greek and Urum which were thought as only one group called Greek lived mostly in Ukraine and Georgia. After 1991 because of some difficulties the Urums whose native language is Turkish and who are Christians migrated to other countries mostly Greece and Russia. In this paper general information about the Urums who are living in Tsalka (Parmaksız) region is given and also for the first time their customs, traditions and life styles are described in detail on the basis of the interviews with the Urums in this region.
