Summary/Abstract: The study is describing a natural heterogeneity and evaluates the state of inclusion in the conditions of our schools. The main objective was to identify the state of inclusion in the T. Booth and M. Ainscow (2002) model in the „community building dimension“ within the development of inclusive culture dimension in the environment of selected Slovak elementary schools, what can contribute to the development of an inclusive society. And also emphasising the role of schools in building community and developing values, as well as in increasing achievement. The main indicator in the Index for inclusion in „community building dimension“ is the cooperation of the schools and community members. We assumed a low level of the community development in our conditions and research confirmed our assumption.
