Summary/Abstract: The following text problematizes the characteristics of the poem in prose, the existence of the phenomenon in Bulgarian literature, the place of the genre in the literary-historical narrative. Тhe article interprets Anton Strashimirov’s book Transition (1926). Particular attention is paid to the poetry in prose featured in the book: “Confession” and “Shame”.
