Summary/Abstract: Elementary school sets the foundations for forming different skills of pupils, through which they can successfully cope with tasks aimed at developing their potential in different fields of knowledge and learning different roles for integration in a group and society. One of them is the ability to work with a text. In digital society, the issue of working with texts in a virtual educational environment is relevant because it raises challenges for seeking methods and means for optimal structuring and dosing of sources of information. Working with texts in a virtual educational environment improves the skills of modern students to analyze, create and interpret different types of texts considering the set task in a different way, through interactive means that place students in the conditions of discoverers and creators of their own knowledge.
