Summary/Abstract: This paper aims to present some statistical data regarding the town of Cavarna (Caliacra County) in the 1930s. The main resources used for this purpose include the Statistical Yearbooks of Romania published by the Central Institute of Statistics between 1932 and 1940. To begin with, the paper introduces the population structure highlighted by the 29 December 1930 census. It then goes on to present several aspects characterising the population of Cavarna between 1931 and 1939: marital status, birth rates, death rates, natural increase, medical care, social and economic life.
